Phoenix Eagle commences clinical trial.

> 01/12/09
OPAL A-1001 clinical trial has been approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee of the Austin Hospital.

Australian Licence

In June 2008, Phoenix Eagle entered into its first licensing agreement, with Health Focus Products Australia Pty Ltd (HFPA). HFPA has been granted an exclusive licence to manufacture, market and sell OPAL Products within Australia.

We estimate that the Australian pharmaceutical and cosmetics market account for less than 1% of these markets globally. The Licence Agreement with HFPA was a crucial step in Phoenix Eagle’s business development as the upfront licence fee was pivotal in funding the current clinical trial while the terms of the Agreement provide the Company with the freedom to licence its IP in the remaining 99% of the global marketplace.

HFPA has launched its first cosmetic brand into the Australian marketplace, being the OnlyPapaya product range. Further information regarding this brand is available on its website www.onlypapaya.com.au.
