Health Economics - Nicholas Graves
Associate Professor Nicholas Graves, PhD, is the lead co-author of the first published academic paper on the OPAL Products. Nick is a health economist and an Associate Professor at The Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation at The Queensland University of Technology. Nick did his PhD in economics at the University of London and held a research post at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and taught post-graduate students at the London School of Economics. He was appointed a senior lecturer at QUT in 2002 and Associate Professor in 2008. Nick has been published in high quality journals such as JAMA, Lancet, Infectious Diseases, Annals of Internal Medicine, AIDS, Emerging Infectious Diseases & Journal of Infectious Diseases. He has been invited to speak at eight international conferences since 2002 including an invitation to address a plenary session at the 46th Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy in San Francisco in 2006; this conference was attended by more than 10,000 delegates. Nick has purchased an option on one Phoenix Eagle share.
