Paul Wright AM, Non-Executive Chair

Paul has combined banking, health, hospitality and consulting in a career that has encompassed over 25 years in senior executive management with a variety of leadership roles. He has held the position of General Manager for Queensland and the Northern Territory of the Medical Benefits Fund of Australia Limited and has provided executive services as General Manager of The Brisbane Club.

Paul has been a company director for more than twenty six years and has served on some 15 different company Boards. He has been Chairman of The Australian Institute of Management, The Royal Flying Doctor Service, The Queensland Institute of Medical Research (QIMR) Trust and PQ Lifestyles Limited. He is currently Chairman of BSES Limited and Phoenix Eagle Company Pty Ltd. He is also a Director of the Australian Sugar Industry Alliance Ltd and idec Solutions Pty Ltd.

In 2006, Paul was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for his service to medical administration and to business and commerce.
